Acoustic Guitar - usually large, six strings, wooden, hole in the middle, steel or nylon strings, "think cowboy guitar".
Electric Guitar - usually thinner, six strings, any color, has electronic looking things knobs and pickups
Bass Guitar - usually 4 strings, long neck, has electronics on it, large steel strings
